Angela Sarafyan - om Breaking Dawn & Tia

ShockYa: “Twilight” is enormously popular and “Breaking Dawn,” which you are in, is sure to be huge. You play Egyptian vampire Tia, which sounds kind of sexy and dangerous.

AS: She is, both sexy and dangerous. It’s not that much make-up, actually, but it will be extraordinary. I keep using that word! I’m sick of that word. It will be huge! The whole thing will be mind-blowing, I think. Tia comes from Egypt, and she grew up in poverty, so she’s learned to survive as a person from the streets. Her and Benjamin both lived, struggled, did things, and eventually they get this opportunity with what happens with Renesmee to fight authority. And I think that’s a really exciting thing for both of them, because if you look at it it’s incredible. The book and movie actually covers really big themes — the rich against the poor, power against the person that is oppressed. And I think in Egypt, especially with everything that is happening now, well, it’s funny that that is happening. …Most women from the Middle East are told to cover their faces, but I don’t think that (choice) exists for Tia. She’s a strong, beautiful, sexy woman. So I compare it to Cleopatra and Mark Antony in a way. She was a ruler, and so I think they’re a team, working together to maybe fight something that will save a lot of vampires ultimately.

Marisa Quintanilla [Huilen] - om Robsten & BD

“Never in a million years would I have even guessed it, you know?” she said. “It was amazing.”

She was a fan before she auditioned for the role, which she snagged quickly, though she didn’t know she was cast until months afterward.

“I was introduced (to “Twilight”) by my sisters, and my sisters are quite a bit younger than me, and they introduced me to the movies,” Quintanilla said. “And I thought it was really silly at first … and then I watched them and was in love with them and couldn’t wait to see the next one.”

Those who have read the books know how important the role of Huilen is. And though the “Twilight” saga is officially over with the release of “Breaking Dawn,” there’s a lot of back story author Stephanie Meyer could explore.

If Meyer does change her mind and revisits the “Twilight” universe of vampires, shapeshifters and humans, perhaps it could mean more screen time for Quintanilla as Huilen.

“Fingers crossed, believe me, it was discussed on set with the boy that plays my nephew,” she said. “We were like, I mean, come on, they have to do another movie, or at least a webisode about these characters. There’s like, a whole world that they could talk about.”

She worked directly with Robert Pattinson (Edward) and Kristin Stewart (Bella).

“It was surprisingly amazing and easy and just so easy, breezy, cool and casual,” she said. “They had no attitude; everybody on the set was just kind, generous and in a way that I was just really taken aback by because these people are so famous.”

In spite of how some media paint Stewart out to be a snob, she was anything but, Quintanilla said.

“She was just the sweetest thing. She was really nice and shy, if anything,” she said. “She’s so much like (her) character: shy, a little awkward – in the cutest, most endearing kind of way.”

And Quintanilla had nothing but praise for Pattinson, too.

Rob, as well, (was) just so nice and soft-spoken. Neither of them is ever loud or getting all the attention or anything like that on set,” Quintanilla said. “They’re just really quiet and do their job and nice to everyone."

Ny intervju av Total Film - Taylor Lautner

[Ny bild på Taylor]

This month’s Total Film features an hunktastic shoot with Abduction star Taylor Lautner, and we’ve got an online exclusive image below.

We caught up with Lautner in LA to discuss his leap to action movie stardom with Abduction.

With his legions of squealing fans, Lautner has the teen idol/lust object bit down pat, but will he convince as an action man?

He certainly has some lofty aspirations, telling us, “The most important thing I did with John [Singleton – director] was sit down beforehand and watch a lot of movies and study actors that I look up to.”

“We studied Tom Cruise in Minority Report, Harrison Ford, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington…”

When we asked if he was actively looking to inherit their gig, he replied: “That would be an honour, to be compared to people like that. I look up to Tom Cruise and Matt Damon.

“I would kill to have the careers they’ve had…”

Pick up the new issue of Total Film Magazine, which hits newsstands on 1 September 2011!

Ny intervju - Tinsel Korey [aka Emily]

Question: You were cast as Emily Young, the fiancée of Sam Uley over 800 other actresses. How did you react when you were told you had been cast?

Tinsel Korey: I was really excited. Especially since I thought I hadnt done well on the audition. But Im also my toughest critic.

Question: The character, Emily is scarred from a previous incident with Sam Uley; can you talk about the time you spent in make up preparing for your role in the Twilight Saga movies.

Tinsel Korey: We had different make up teams for the different movies. For New Moon the make up took three - four hours on the day; because we had two test days. For Eclipse they had to do the make up on set and try to match the first teams job, so it ending up taking eight hours, then five hours, then they got it down to three hours. Then in Breaking Dawn they had a new type of scar material, and it only took two hours. It is quite a process for sure.

Question: Were you sad to say goodbye to filming the Twilight Saga when you finished part 1 of Breaking Dawn?

Tinsel Korey: Of course, its a chapter in your life ending. I remember being at dinner with everyone, and was like "Are we all still going to be friends after this ends?"

Question: How has your life changed since being cast in the Twilight Saga?

Tinsel Korey: I guess the amount of attention I get has changed. But how I perceive my reality hasnt, I always remember to stay humble. As fast as something is given to you, it can be taken away just as fast!

Question: In the movie you are a motherly figure to Sam Uleys werewolf pack, how are you similar to the character of Emily Young?

Tinsel Korey: I take care of the boys the same way. Always acting like the big sister, and making sure theyre ok.

Question: Can you share with our readers what goes on, on the set of Twilight?

Tinsel Korey: There are pranks and stuff that we play on each other, and Im surrounded by boys, so theres lots of male energy on set.

Question: How do you deal with the crazy fan mania that surrounds Twilight?

Tinsel Korey: Most of the fans are just really passionate about the Twilight Saga. Some can get a little "interesting", but thats normally online, never in person, for me at least.

Question: Have you had a crazy fan experience?

Tinsel Korey: With Twilight? No. Outside of Twilight, yes.

Question: Did you read any of the Twilight books before auditioning for the role of Emily Young?

Tinsel Korey: Of course! I read New Moon before filming that
movie. Then I spent some time on the Quileute Reservation teaching drama to their kids and visited the Makah nation (where Emily is from) as well, before I started filming Eclipse. I have a very deep understanding of where my character comes from.

Question: Did you meet Stephanie Meyers on the set of Breaking Dawn?

Tinsel Korey: No, but I did get the pleasure of meeting her on the set of New Moon.

Question: Could you talk about your character in the upcoming films Avarice and Stained?

Tinsel Korey: Avarice: Shes sort of a lost soul, really edgy, and her and the other character come upon this mystery box that shows you the one thing you want in life. Its a sci-fi action film.

Stained: Was a darker role cause its a horror. I played a schizophrenic serial killer. Every day was a challenge for me, as I had to dive into this really dark place. I got to push myself as an
actor though, and my craft is the most important thing to me.

Question: You are working on the comedy Fishing Naked at the moment, can you talk about this film and what audiences should expect?

Tinsel Korey: After doing such intense films, I started to look for comedies, which is actually a strength of mine. And thats when Fishing Naked came my way. Its sort of like American Pie with a Super Natural twist. I get to work with Bronson again, and I just think hes so talented, so Im really excited about that. We start filming in September.

Question: What was your inspiration to get into acting industry?

Tinsel Korey: Art is a way of me expressing myself. I play music and paint as well. I cant live without art. I dont know if something specific inspired me; I think it was just a part of my core.

Question: How do you have time to focus on your acting career and your singer-songwriting career?

Tinsel Korey: Well doing a studio album has been a challenge because every time I get started with music, acting takes my attention away. But I just move with whatever medium inspires me at that time.

Question: What is the one quote, you live by?

Tinsel Korey: "Believe in Dreams
"

Ny intervju av TV Movie - Robsten [Tyskland]

"The end was a shock for us"
Romantic, hot - and painful! In this way, the "Twilight" stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson experienced the final of the vampire saga.

TV Movie: Finally! The wedding bells are ringing for Hollywoods dream couple. For now, though, only in cinemas: In the first part of the "Twilight" showdown (part 2 starts in 2012) Kristen as a beautiful mortal, and Rob as a sexy vampire pledge their troth either to other. And: For the first time there are some really hot bed scenes! We met the young stars for an interview at San Diegos ComicCon.

TV Movie: Be honest: Was the film sex difficult for you?
Rob: Oh yes! I felt really uncomfortable.

TV Movie: Too many people on set?
Rob: No, a fear had rather something to do with Taylor and his fantastic body. Jacob, as a werwolf, has bared all already in the last two films. And to be honest, I cant keep up with him.

TV Movie: The fans will be pleased with the new passion nevertheless...
Kristen: After for year its about time! [laughs]
Rob: Theyre very emotional scenes. For the first time I felt like a human, not like a vampire.

TV Movie: What do you think of Bellas wedding dress?
Kristen: I love it! Its old fashioned, though, but thats exactly what I like.

TV Movie: Would you wear such a dress on your own wedding?
Kristen: No, no. But it fits for Bella, and thats most important.

TV Movie: Do you believe in marriage?
Kristen: I like the thought of two people staying together for the rest of their lives. For me, however, this doesnt need to be sealed with signatures.

TV Movie: How would you describe the first part of "Breaking Dawn"?
Kristen: Mature is the right word. This time its not about fighting, but the fact that we start a family.

TV Movie: The film is also very dark...
Kristen: Thats right. Bella keeps saying that she would die for a life with Edward. In the movie she shows how seriously she takes it.

TV Movie: Is Edward the great hero like everyone thinks?
Rob: For me hes never been the great hero. Edward isnt interested in the rest of the world at all. Just at the end.

TV Movie: With the birth of his vampire daughter...
Rob: Exactly. The moment when the baby comes into world, he no longer thinks only of himself.

TV Movie: [Part 2] is filmed already, the Twilight saga is over. What does it feel like?
Rob: Im a bit paranoid and think after every film "That was my last one..."

TV Movie: What will you miss the most?
Kristen: Ive been living in a different world for 4 years and I really liked it there [laughs]. Ill miss everything.
Rob: Same for me. Especially the last day was a shock. Ive never wanted to think about the end, and then it was suddenly there. Now we have to live with it
.

"The BD wedding was beautiful" - Kellan L

Kellan Lutz can’t wait for fans to watch Edward and Bella tie the knot in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, which is in theaters this fall.

“I’ve been waiting for it,” he tells me during the DKNY Sunglass Soiree at The Beach at Dream Downtown in NYC.
“I read all the books. What I get the biggest kick out of is knowing what the fans are really going to love, so when we shoot a scene like that, like the marriage and the arm-wrestling scene for Kristen [Stewart] and I, I just love when you bring this idea in your head – ‘cause you envision how the scene is going to be shot – and then it comes to reality, and you’re really in the moment and you feel alive and interjected with it. And then you step back, and you’re like ‘the fans are really going to like this. They’re *really* going to like this."

He adds, “It was cold as heck that day, but it was beautiful. It really was. It was really special seeing Stephenie Meyer in the back, crying, because this is such an important scene in the movie, the book and the series, and in all the fans lives for them to see it.”

Hm, what was so beautiful about it?

“It’s a wedding, and these forbidden loves finally become one. The lion and the lamb becoming one, which is truly special. I’m all for marriage. My brother got married – I got teary-eyed at that. I think it’s special. I can’t wait to hear the music that’s going to be laid behind it. I think everyone’s going to love it.”

Ny intervju - Jamie Campbell Bower

InStyle Magazine talked to Jamie Campbell Bower about Camelot and his fantasy projects.

Instyle: A lot of your roles seem to be quite fantastical -Harry Potter, Twilight, even Sweeney Todd, would you like to do a role that was just simply a guy living now?

JCB: If it was a good story I would jump at the chance, it just so happens that most things that I’ve done has been that sort of supernatural role. But that’s because it’s a good story. I’ve just got a new project, which is a fantasy series, so for the near future its all fantastical.

Instyle: “You’ve been in both Harry Potter and Twilight, was it a different experience on each set?

JCB: Every job is different. My time on Harry Potter was very, very short, whereas my time on Twilight was quite long and extended. Every job brings a new life experience. I was able to come back home when I was in Potter, whereas when I was in Twilight I was out in Baton Rouge and Vancouver for five months together. Every job should just bring something new and exciting and should help you grow.

Instyle: Who would win the battle between team Twilight and team Potter?

JCB: Now, I got asked this question the other day, but if it was just the two leads – Edward vs Harry. I said Edward would win in that situation, because once you get the wand out of Harrys hand, he’s dead. But, you’ve thrown a new dynamic into it because if it was a team battle, honestly then, I don’t know. I probably have to say the vampires again, they do move at super speed but the other guys have wands and you can stand back, you don’t have to get so close. Who knows? It’s a debate that philosophers have been thinking about for years now!"

Ny intervju - Sam Clafin pratar om SWATH

Rising star Sam Claflin talks about his upcoming role as Prince Charming himself in Snow White and the Huntsman.

British actor Sam Claflin is quickly becoming one-to-watch in Hollywood. After completing his acting training at LAMDA, and doing a few roles on television and one smaller film, Claflin managed to land a coveted part in one of the most well-known franchises today, Pirates of the Caribbean. We had the chance to speak with the actor about his character Philip (the missionary lost in a sea of ruthless pirates) in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the Los Angeles press day for the film. Stay tuned for our coverage from the event.

During the course of our conversation, we also touched upon the two (notable) films that Claflin has signed on for, following his turn in Pirates. The actor will star opposite cinematic icon Jeff Bridges in The Seventh Son (though production has been delayed on that film); he will also portray none other than Prince Charming himself in one of the two upcoming twists on the Snow White legend, Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman. Claflin joins Kristen Stewart as the ever-in-peril-but-always-victorious Snow, and Charlize Theron as the beautiful and deadly (some might say reactionary)
Evil Queen.

Armie Hammer, who gave a standout performance in The Social Network as the simultaneously attractive and repellent Winklevoss twins, will play the part of the prince in the other interpretation of the classic tale, Snow and the Seven. When we asked Claflin who would win a Prince Charming “throwdown,” the actor laughingly responded:
-“He’ll definitely outdo me! Undoubtedly! Hopefully, and I’m sure, we’ll both portray two very, very different Princes. But being humble, I’d have to say that he would do a very, very good job and probably ‘smash it’ more than I will. But I’m going to obviously put my heart and soul into that, as much as I have for this (“Pirates”) and try my hardest to beat him."

Perhaps as a result of Kristen Stewarts involvement in the film, some fans are beginning to liken Snow White and the Huntsman to Twilight, and speculate that there will be a love-triangle between Snow, the Huntsman and the Prince. “It depends really who plays the huntsmen I suppose,” Claflin mused.
-“Because there were rumors that it would be Viggo Mortensen or Hugh Jackman, (if it were) someone like that with Snow White being Kristen Stewart it wouldn’t be as much of a triangle. However, if it’s someone like Chris Hemsworth (who is rumored to be in talks to take on the role) yes, maybe it would be more of a love triangle."

BooBoo & Fivel Stewart pratar om BD - TCA

Boo Boo Stewart and his sister Fivel  Talk Breaking Dawn , Wedding Scene at Teen Choice Awards with OKmagazine.

Sister and brother duo Fivel andBoo Boo Stewart weren’t shy last night when it came to dishing all about Twilight, including the wedding scene and whether or not Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison live together!

So, when it comes to the wedding scene, was he there for filming or not? BooBoo got tripped up on his words! Maybe he just got overly excited with this cryptic quote? He told OK!, “Yes. I mean, I don’t know if I was! Oh no, that’s in the trailer so it’s okay."

Moving right along, considering he’s known K-Stew and R-Pattz for the past two years, he says they haven’t changed a bit and they’re “exactly the same.” He told reporters, "It’s not like I get to hang out with them all the time but every time I’ve been with them, it doesn’t matter how crazy the situation is, and they’re just always so laid back."

And in case you’re wondering, it was a bit strange since they’re a couple in real life. Booboo added, "It was weird. I was sitting there and I was like, ‘this is actually really touching.’ I was sitting in the back."

Considering Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz moved in together as roommates in NYC, BooBoos not sure if others from the cast will be doing that so soon, ahem K-Stew and R-Pattz? Fivel asked OK!, "Oh, they’re not already?" And then her brother chimed in, “I don’t know!"

Kristen & Taylor - pratar om Breaking Dawn

The previous films were fairly close to the books; what about ”Breaking Dawn”?

Kristen : It’s pretty true to the book – so if that’s what you thought about the previous films you’ll definitely [feel the same with Breaking Dawn].  The story this time is a little bit more life and death, in a realistic sense – - what with Bella pregnant with a demon baby. It’s the first time, I think, that you’re not worried about Edward and Bella breaking up, they’re actually working through issues that are kind of make or break… I don’t know how to say it without giving away all the story.

What do you think about them splitting “Breaking Dawn” into two movies

Taylor : I think it’s perfect; it needed to be done. This Part 1 is amazing, I can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Would you say this was the most difficult book to bring to the big screen?

Absolutely. It was very challenging. There was a lot of stuff that was just.. difficult to show.. difficult to do.. and Jacob goes through a lot – I mean, his number one goal has been to always end up with Bella, and of course we know that doesn’t exactly happen; from the beginning of the movie to the end he changes a lot.. he’s forced to mature.

What do you remember from the very last day of shooting?

Kristen : The very last day of shooting I was in a wetsuit and – I’d been in the water for like ten-hours, literally; it was tough to ‘get the light’ or whatever – I ran over to my producer Godfrey and wrapped my legs around his waist, because he didn’t get in the water all night; so I took him on in, it was fun.

And Taylor, will we get to see more of your Abs before the “Twilight” series comes to an end?

Taylor : [Laughs] Um.. I’m not sure, I’ll guess you’ll have to wait and see.

Ny intervju - Julia Jones (aka Leah)

The Twilight cast hit Comic-Con to talk about Breaking Dawn part one, and I had a few minutes to chat with Julia Jones, who plays Leah Clearwater, the lone werewolf girl in the wolf pack. Jones chatted about her role in the film and her emotional scenes with Taylor Lautner, as well as getting to check out the big Breaking Dawn wedding.

BuzzSugar: What are we seeing from Leah in Breaking Dawn?

Julia Jones: All my scenes are with Jacob [and] that was such a treat because theyre very intimate scenes, and pretty much until this point all our scenes were like, wolf pack scenes: all of us, running around and saying a few lines and doing a lot of "business." So to actually get to have these scenes that go somewhere, where you care so much about your character because youve been living her for so long, and to really get into what happens with both of them, is rewarding. Im excited to see how that plays out.

Buzz: What was it like at this point being the only girl in the wolf pack?

JJ: It changed. Its very different this time, because the dynamic of the wolf pack changed — Jacob and Leah and Seth sort of break off. It felt a lot more comfortable. Part of why she leaves the pack in the first place is because she feels like she doesnt belong there. She just feels so out of place and constantly trying to prove herself and be one of them, which shes never gonna be; shes not a guy. So when they leave, the dynamic shifts, and its like Im with my best friend and my brother. We just feel like this close, tight-knit family.

Buzz: Youre not in the wedding scene, but did you get to see any of it shot?

JJ: That was tricky for me, because the wedding was shot toward the very end of filming, and literally every character except for me was in the wedding. I got to the point where I just started going to the set to hang out. But it was great; I saw everybody dressed up! Im so glad that I did that, because it was just such a wonderful way to finish filming.

Bill Condon - Ny intervju med Movies.com

Movies.com: Today is your first time at Comic-Con , and your first exposure to the Twilight fandom at large. What was going through your head on that dais?

Bill Condon: I was praying that nobody booed at the clip, that they would be accepting of it, because that’s like crazy.  I’ve been in the editing room, and it’s so cocooned. We haven’t had any test screening. So to show scenes, six to seven minutes of the movie, my heart was beating definitely. But it felt good. I thought it went well.

Movies.com: In the Hall H panel, you talked about how you feel that there is no bigger Twilight fan on the set than Kristen Stewart. Can you expand on that?

Condon: Right from the beginning she was a real collaborator. When I sit down with her with and a draft of the and she says, “God I miss this part not being in,” most of the time we put it right back in. I think she never loses sight of what it was like for her the first time she read Breaking Dawn. She’s reading it as a fan, but also with the responsibility of giving and living up to what is expressed in the books about what Bella is feeling. She becomes an important voice to listen to in all of that. As I said we’d talk about it, then we’d rehearse it, then we’d block it, then we’d come to the day and we would still find some nuisances that we’d want to explore having reread it again the night before.

Pratar om Robert & Breaking Dawn - James Franco

Playboy: Participating in the Venice Biennale is by invitation only and a big deal. What are the specifics of your project?
James FRANCO: It’s a huge project I’m incredibly honored and proud to be presenting. It’s based on Rebel Without a Cause, and some of the best contemporary artists alive—Paul McCarthy, Douglas Gordon, Ed Ruscha, Aaron Young, Damon McCarthy and Harmony Korine—worked on different sections. I wanted Robert Pattinson to be in the project, but when Harmony (Rebels director) contacted him and told him the concept, Rob said, “I don’t get the point,” so that was that.

PLAYBOY: Is it true you wanted to do a Twilight movie?
FRANCO: I had my agent tell [director] Bill Condon that I’d be happy to do anything in Breaking Dawn, but that was because it was supposed to be part of a multimedia project at Yale. I was working with a Yale undergraduate who had written an autobiographical play about putting on a theatrical production of Twilight in which I was a character. So I was interested in Twilight because I was going to be part of that play. I thought what a great connection it would be if I were also involved with the real Twilight.

JS: I have a new movie coming out called Abduction. It’s a spy thriller with the most popular teenage star in the world, Taylor Lautner, who starred in the Twilight pictures. It’s about a teenage kid who finds out his parents aren’t his real parents and his real father is a big dangerous spy. I really can’t tell you too much more, so what is there to say about it but that I know it’s going to be a big hit?

Chris Weitz - pratar om Twilight stjärnorna

“I really want to see how they’re going to figure out the part where the vampire baby chews its way out of Kristen Stewart’s stomach,” said “New Moon” director, Chris Weitz, when we recently asked him what he’s looking forward to seeing in the final “Twilight Saga” movies.

Chris quipped with a smile, “I certainly wouldn’t know how to shoot that. I’m sure Bill Condon is going to figure it out, because he’s a terrific director.”

As for the future of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner after “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” Parts 1 (to be released in November this year) and 2 (next year), here’s Chris’ wish for them: “For the three leads, they’re going to need to handle this last tsunami of publicity and distinguish themselves in other films.”

“With Kristen, she has always done terrific independent-film roles, and that’s great,” said Chris, who also directed the memorable “About a Boy,” “The Golden Compass” and, now, the acclaimed “A Better Life.” “Rob is doing that sort of thing, too,” Chris pointed out. “Rob is filming with David Cronenberg (‘Cosmopolis’) now. Taylor is carving a different path in action films.”

“I want to see them succeed,” Chris stressed. “I want to see them retain their essential humanity. I like them very much. What I also wish for them are happy lives that aren’t impinged on too much by the downside of the great things that have happened to them."

Fan sidan BellaSugar, fick chansen till en eklusiv intervju med New Moon & Eclipses film-sminkör (make Up artist), Leslie Graham:

BellaSugar: You created some of the looks for the vampires in New Moon and Eclipse — who did you look after and what were the key products you used to create their looks?

Leslie GrahamFor New Moon I was brought in to be a personal makeup artist for actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who played the role of Caius (one of the leaders of the Voluturi). For Eclipse I did the makeup for all of the Wolfpack [Alex Meraz, Julia Jones and Chaske Spencer], Jodelle Ferland and some of the newborn vampires. On set I would take care of Dakota and the other Volturi. We did a lot of air-brushing using MAC Micronized Airbrushed Formula to give the “onion” skin tone. It has a little silicone in it, which works to keep the makeup in place as we were often working in the woods and in the rain — vampires in the rain can be quite difficult!”

BellaSugar: One of the key looks in the Twilight films is the perfect pale skin — how can we recreate this look without appearing washed out?

LG: I would say go with a colour two to three shades lighter than your own skin tone and apply it with a wide and flat synthetic foundation brush. Make sure you go right down your neck and over your ears and don’t make it too white or too grey — it shouldn’t be "death" makeup, it should be just enough to lighten your own skin tone. Try Revlon Colorstay in a buff, nude or ivory tone, again depending on your skin.

Chris Weitz - pratar om New Moon & A Better Life

Några Fansite sidor (Twilight ExaminerTwilighters AnonymousTeam TwilightTwilightishTwilight Series Theories & Twilight Moms) fick chansen att intervjua Chris Weitz (New Moon regissör) under hans nya film, A Better Lifes, premiär.

Q: How were you able to get such amazing emotions out of the actors, especially [Jose Julian] – I just read on his page that he’s never done anything like this before. The movie’s so powerful; how did you get the actors to portray that on-screen?

Chris Weitz: Well, I mean Demian Bichir is a big actor in Mexico. He’s been in many movies; he’s incredibly technically accomplished and a brilliant actor so that was never in doubt for me. Of course, when you’re starting with a newcomer, you don’t really know what you’re going to get, but I think the thing that we managed to do was to schedule it so that the scenes which he was being a difficult teen and kind of a pain in the butt were early on, which is kind of easier for a sixteen-year-old actor to go to, and then the more emotional scenes, by the time we got around to shooting that, he had lived in our little circus for you know a couple of months. He had learned from Demian; he had learned how to focus; he had been through all this thinking about things, and so that helped him. And of course acting with Demian when he’s delivering that sort of final speech in the detention center, I would find it hard not to convey a hell of a lot of emotion myself.

Q: Twilight fans obviously, certainly we love our good-looking men and the abs, but we do like more than that, and one of the big themes in the Twilight series is family and relying upon your family. Can you speak to those similar themes in A Better Life?

Chris Weitz: Yeah, well that’s kind of why I started tweeting and why I thought it would . . . why I was really glad you all could see it early . . . because you know it’s not about vampires and werewolves and that sort of thing, but the great thing about Twilight, I think the revelation is that people will go see a movie that concerns itself with emotions, and that is very much about family. I mean, Carlos . . . like Charlie Swan is a great dad, he will always be there for his daughter. Carlos is a character who just keeps his head down and works hard to do everything that he can for his son, and he and his son are at odds because they don’t have the chance to be with each other enough to understand one another, and, you know, part of the interest of the story is that it’s this terrible thing that has happened that allows them to learn more about one another. So, I mean, to me, it’s not so weird that we’re talking together about this. I mean, of course I want as many people as possible to see the movie, but I think that the great thing about the success of the Twilight films is that it’s not just going to be . . . it’s defined sort of the strength of movies about emotions in the marketplace. And that’s kinda what I do, so that’s something I’m very happy about.

Q: With New Moon, I know you were pretty specific about your intent to bring on only First Nation or Native American actors for the wolfpack, and I was wondering if with A Better Life, you required all the actors to be from Mexico or of Mexican descent.

Chris Weitz: Yeah, I did. The reason is that people would tell the difference. You know, for instance . . . there are a couple of reasons I didn’t go after someone like Javier Bardem. Javier Bardem is Spanish, and that’s from the Conquistador culture. Mexicans are from the culture that has been dominated. And also there’s a difference between a Mexican Latino-American and a Salvadoran Latino-American. Just ask them. And they recognize those differences, just in terms of the accents and everything. And we wanted this to be as authentic as possible, so for instance, with the three characters who are supposed to have been born and raised in Mexico, those are all actors who flew up from Mexico in order to . . . those are three big Mexican actors who flew up in order to play those parts. And we’re proud to do so because they were sort of representing the experience of Mexicans who come to this country. And just as I thought it was somehow, I don’t know, karma-cally appropriate to cast First Nation actors in New Moon, it was in this case as well.

Stephen Moyer (True Blood)- nämner Robsten!

What do you make of the current vampire craze? It really shows no sign of abating.

SM: It doesn’t seem to be abating. It’s one of those unanswerable questions because when you think it’s one thing, it turns out to be another. … I think in the teen world, there’s a beautiful romance about that stuff. I believe this year the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart characters [in the "Twilight" saga] have a baby. It’s this perfect romance, this perfect ideal. Ours isn’t quite as fluffy as that … our characters and the way that Alan works is, as soon as a character has a semblance of happiness, he digs a h*** for them to drive into.

Peter Facinelli - pratar om hur bra Robert & Kristen är på att kunna hantera deras kändisskap!

And hello! You have Twilight. That must be the coolest thing to be a part of.
Im having a good time with it. We finished filming four and five. Im excited to have the filming portion of it over and now I can sit back as one of the fans and see how it all comes together.

Do your daughters think you’re so cool because you work with Robert Pattinson?
My daughters don’t usually get impressed by people I’ve worked with because they’re just Dad’s friends. I think they’re just enamored I’m part of the whole franchise. Rob is just one of Dad’s friends

Are you amazed at what he and Kristen Stewart have to put up with?
I’m very proud of how they’ve handled it. It’s been fun for me to watch them rise to fame the way they have and the way they’ve handled it. When your life is put under a microscope like that it’s very difficult to function and I give them great credit for functioning and living a normal life within the realm of their fame.

Spelar olika mammor - Elizabeth Reaser (ny intervju)

Was playing Charlotte an antidote to playing Esme, the picture of maternal perfection?

ER: That was exactly it. I was fascinated with someone who would behave like that, who was clearly free of inhibitions, who’s okay with herself and is not a perfect mother. Esme is perfect. There’s not a bad word you can say about Esme. She does everything right. She just loves with every ounce of her being, while Charlotte is drunk, walking around in a negligee and tickling her daughter’s underage boyfriend! [Laughs.] I think women who don’t understand boundaries are fascinating. I sort of modeled her after a girlfriend of mine who is the most fun, the most outrageous, life of the party — hang out with her and you will end up in the hot tub at the end of the night. And that’s what I thought about in terms of Charlotte. It was a little bit of a leap for me, that scene in the garden where I tickle Freddie Highmore, because I kept thinking of him as the boy from Finding Neverland. But he’s not a boy. He’s a young man.

Emma Roberts plays your daughter, Sally, but your relationship to her feels more sisterly than it does maternal.

ER: It is more sisterly, more like friends. They’re close. Charlotte sees something in Freddie’s character because she’s been around the block, and she knows that we don’t appreciate those boys when we’re young. She tries to impart that wisdom, but Sally’s not having it. I love how Emma calls me “Mom” offscreen; she even called me on Mother’s Day! We just really hit it off. We ran around the Lower East Side, the meatpacking district. She knows, like, 8 million people! She’s really smart, sophisticated, worldly. She’s like a 45-year-old woman in the body of a 20-year-old.

Did she pepper you with Twilight questions?

ER: Yes! She’s a bit of a Twihard. I remember she was Team Jacob at one point. She definitely played it cool, though. Those movies, I’m always surprised when older kids are obsessed with them. You’d think they’d be too-cool-for-school for them. But the films seem to capture all ages. I’ve met a lot of Twi-Moms. I get a little uncomfortable when they start talking about Taylor Lautner’s body, because I’m like, “He’s a baby! Don’t talk about him like that!” But the movies definitely capture the imagination of even older women. I’m 35, so I guess I would be a Twi-Mom.

You’re too young to be playing all these moms!

ER: Bless you! And I’m not a mom myself. People who don’t know me see me as motherly, for some reason. People who know me, they think it’s really weird that I’m playing the mom.

When you were shooting New Moon, did you think about how on earth you would shoot the birth scene if you had to?

CW: [Laughs] No, I wasnt because I knew that I wasnt going to do Eclipse and I thought, "No way can I figure this one out." I thought, "Well who could do it? David Cronenberg?" I have no idea how theyve managed to get around all of that. I would imagine, you know, since Im a coward it would be a lot of quick cutting, dissolve-y misdirection. I dont know. Its a tough one. Im not sure how I would have figured that out.

Catherine Hardwicke - pratar om Red Riding Hood & Twilight ned Seventeen magazine

CG: Theres a much darker, alternate ending to Red Riding Hood on the DVD. As a director, did you get attached to one particular ending?

CH: I like both endings! Theyre very different. If I had it my way, I would have had one ending in one theater and one in another.

CG: What draws you to these dark, fantasy movies, like Twilight and Red Riding Hood?

CH: When I read the Twilight book, I didnt see it as fantasy. I saw it as a love story. I really wanted to create that feeling of being madly in love with someone. With Red Riding Hood, there was whole different feel. Although there is that sense of falling in love, its different than Bella and Edwards relationship. Valerie gets suspicions of the person she loves, which is a very real theme. Sometimes youre looking at someone you love your whole love and think, "Could they have a secret?" Maybe you dont think your boyfriend is a murder, but youre wondering if hes cheating behind your back!

CG: You were originally interested in casting Shiloh Fernandez as the role of Edward in Twilight. What made you go back to him for Red Riding Hood?

CH: I liked him when he did the auditions for Twilight, but Rob and Kristen had more chemistry, which is something you just cant fake. Ive always believed my leading lady should have a say in who plays opposite her. I wanted Amanda [Seyfried] to be very involved with the person she was supposed to be in love with on screen. We had a bunch of guys come in to read with Amanda, but her and Shiloh just hit it off best!

CG: What do you want to do next—what does your dream project look like?

CH: My first movie, Thirteen, and it was very real-almost too real. It was very gritty, with raw human emotion. Id love to do something like that again. I have a project in the works that would be something like that. I cant say the name yet, but my fingers are crossed. It would shoot in Europe and would be a character piece.

Exklusiv intervju av Twilightish - Lisa Howard (Siobhan)

Twilightish: Being a newcomer to the Twilight Saga, how was it joining this tight group of friends?

Lisa: Everyone was very welcoming.  We had fun on and off the set.

Twilightish: Famous Fandom Question: Did you read the books or see the movies before you went for the part of Siobhan? If not did you read them when you received the part? If so, were you a fan of the series before?

Lisa: I was a HUGE Twilight Fan before I auditioned for the role of Siobahn.  I ,of course, had read all four books and was so excited just to get an audition. When I actually got the role, I just about died!

Twilightish: Siohan is quite a strong willed character, (she even suspects that she can effect the outcome of a situation by willpower alone!). How did you go about forming her character for the big screen?

Lisa: To get into my character, I re-read Breaking Dawn and I watched all the prior Twilight movies. I tried to be as familiar with the world that Stephanie Meyers created as I could. Then on set, my costume, hair and make-up really helped transport me into that world. Who couldn’t feel like a vampire with those red eyes!

Twilightish: Did you find instant chemistry with your on-screen mate Liam (played by Patrick Brennan)?

Lisa: Yes, he’s a great guy.  Maggie (played by Marlane Barnes) and Liam and I spent a lot of time together on set, you get close with everybody.

Twilightish: Would you like to see spin off movies for the Saga? Perhaps an Irish Coven movie?

Lisa: Of course! That would be so fun J.

Twilightish: Do you have a favorite moment from your time on set? Either on camera or off camera?

Lisa: My favorite time on set was the first night I shot a scene. It was an all night shoot and we were out in the middle of the woods and they made it snow. It was very surreal.

Michael Sheen - "He’s a fascinating character (Aro)"

Your character in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is seen as the villain, but he’s really much more complicated, sinister and self-serving than that. How do you perceive that character?

SHEEN: Well, what I love about that character is that I think he’s totally insane. Immortality – living forever – has driven him completely insane, or certainly into an area of sanity that is not really accessible to most people, and yet, part of his insanity is that he thinks that he’s a sentimental, little old lady. He thinks he’s this cuddly grandmother, somehow. In a way, he keeps himself interested in life and people around him by playing this weird game with himself where he role plays and it amuses him to think of himself as being someone who just enjoys watching young people enjoying themselves. He’s like, “Oh, it’s so lovely. I cry at romantic films.” There’s that kind of persona that he has, when actually he just wants to kill people and eat them. It’s this weird game that he plays. So, I love that. There are a lot of places to explore with that. Underneath it is this insane animal, but on the surface is this very sophisticated, cultured, sentimental character. I just think he’s great. I love it!

Do you feel like he always has a personal agenda and that he doesn’t do anything unless it’s self-serving?

SHEEN: Yeah. He’s incredibly intelligent. The viewpoint that he has is from someone who has been alive for centuries upon centuries, and so he sees things in a very different way. He’s a great chess player, in that respect. He’s lots of moves ahead of everyone. It’s all a game that he plays and enjoys. He’s a fascinating character.

Because there’s not a lot of information on Aro, did you get any tips from Stephenie Meyer about playing him?

SHEEN: I took what Stephenie had written, and there was enough there to get my imagination going. There were enough things there to explore. And then, I wanted someone to tell me, “Actually, no, that’s not an area that’s appropriate for this character,” but on the whole, until that happened, I just kept going. Stephenie was always very supportive. I really enjoyed just letting it go and develop, and go further. Thankfully, no one told me to stop.

Exklusiv intervju av Twilightish - Chaske Spencer

Twilightish: How does it feel to see the end of the Twilight Saga? Are you happy to move on now? Or do you wish for more movies?
Chaske: I love the Twilight Team and would be happy to continue, but of course looking forward to future opportunities.
Twilightish: As the leader of the pack, what will you miss the most about your wolf family?
Chaske: Well we are all friends so we pretty much stay in touch even when we are not shooting...
Twilightish: Do you think youll miss Emily (Tinsel Korey) as your on screen mate?
Chaske: I am sure we will work together again, Tinsel is awesome!
Twilightish: How much of yourself do you put into the character of Sam?
Chaske: I draw from myself for almost every character I play but I love playing characters like Sam, I think he is a pretty great guy and leader.
Twilightish: Likewise, have any of Sams attributes crept in your real life?
Chaske: Maybe the idea of being a role model to some extent but I leave the character on set for the most part.
Twilightish: Of all the characters youve played, where does Sam rank?
Chaske: Certainly he is the most well know, thats for sure.
Twilightish: How do you look back on Twilight? If you had to do it all over again, would you do it or pass?
Chaske: CRAZY QUESTION!!! Of course Id do it again, it has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
Twilightish: What will you miss the most (or the least) about the Saga?
Chaske: I dont really view it that way, I just sort of deal with stuff moment to moment, nothing to miss if you operate that way.
Twilightish: Do you have a favorite moment from any of the 5 films? Either on camera or off camera?
Chaske: Being followed into the mens room by a fan was pretty memorable.
Twilightish: What was your favorite scene to film in Breaking Dawn
Chaske: Mums the word on all things Breaking Dawn! You will have to let me know your favorite scene.
Twilightish: Now that the Saga is almost over, are you REALLY Team Jacob? Or do you harbor Team Edward tendencies?
Chaske: TEAM JACOB ALL THE WAY!
Twilightish: Not that Sam had a lot of costumes to choose from but: If you could or did take one prop or costume piece of Sams, what would it (or what was it) and why?
Chaske: Well I sort of ended up with most of my wardrobe, since we were shirtless in most of the films.
Twilightish: Do you have other projects on the horizon?
Chaske: Yes! I just finished a film called Shouting Secrets, I am shooting Winter in the Blood this summer and hopefully The Block and 6:45 in the fall.
Twilightish: Is there something, either a movie project or perhaps live theater that you are dying to do?
Chaske: I am really committed to getting my companys projects off the ground, The Block and 6:45, they are great roles for me and really cool films.
Twilightish: Is there anyone you are really hoping to work with?
Chaske: Ive been really lucky so far, practically beginning my career working with Spielberg! I feel like I learn something from everyone I work with... BRING IT ON!

Exklusiv intervju av Twilightish - Judi Shekoni

Twilightish: Being a newcomer to the Twilight Saga, how was it joining this tight group of friends?

Judi: I didnt know what it would be like coming into a movie where people had already shot 3 films. Its amazing. They have new people coming into every film, theyre used to it. It was great working with people who are established and know what is going on.

Twilightish: The Famous Fandom Question: Did you read the books or see the movies before you went for the part of Zafrina? If so, were you a fan of the series before?

Judi: I was already a big fan of Twilight. Waited for each book to be released, and read all four years ago. I knew about the project (film). I was a fan from the beginning when Kristen was announced as Bella. I love the series.

Twilightish: If you could (or did) take one prop or costume piece of Zafrina, what would it (or what was it) and why?

Judi: Contact lenses! Id wear them at night and scare people! You really cant stop staring at yourself. Makes me less me and more of the character. I felt more animal. More in character.

BRAVO Intervju - Robert Pattinson

Robert opens his heart - Part I

How it shines! Its my first thought when I, a reporter for Bravo met Robert Pattinson for an interview in Berlin. The 25-year, seems to have much luck. Perhaps because of his girlfriend Kristen Stewart (21). They seem so relaxed when they are together. Just happy! How they do it?
So thats the perfect relationship.

Would you fall for someone who just friendship?
No. Absolutely not. I do not think that friendship can be a great love.
As one of the two often feels different.

You mean you often feel that it is not enough ...
Exactly.
It is this: If you were friends before, so the girl thinks you can find someone better or boy [think so].

Yes I know so. I just spend time with the girls that I was also attracted. So I had to decide whether to go out with me or not.

How do you know a girl you like?
Did you just ask him?
In the initial phase, it may not be as easy as you might say, "not me." Better relax. Wait.
It is the best way.

Is age difference a problem for you?
Not at all. Whether you are in love - even if she is 95 [years].
No matter what others think, about other peoples feelings are genuine.

Good keywords.
If your friends talk bad about your relationship?
I would never say anything bad. But who knows what will happen if one day we parted.
Can complain: "Juhu, shes gone always wanted to tell: the hated" (laughs).

Tell me when you get to know your girlfriend, and remain in a relationship.
How do you think of dating someone who is not free?
It is a horrible situation because you have the impression that they destroy a relationship. But it happens that a relationship is about to end.
And then suddenly someone new enters your life and you can not control your emotions.

Share the same interests or opposites attract: What makes your life easier?
I think the longer they are together become more similar. But you must not go too far.
Just love so hard and kept moving.

Where is the limit.
You say: "No, we can be together"?
If she is bad with my dog. (Laughs) But for the rest? There are problems in any relationship.
Only the lie could be the end.

Tell me an example!
If she said nasty things about my friend and I hurt. Lies will always come to light.
Therefore: Do not!.

But secrets are safe?
Sure!
I think the secret is very important.

People always say to be honest!
I do not know. In a relationship, it is important to be diplomatic and say very cruel things. Total honesty can lead to separation. And it is wrong: You should never control your phone from your partner. It is terrible!
It may never end up with something good.

Your path to happiness?
Confidence! If one is destined to be together, then it will happen.

Michael Sheen - "I would imagine it’s quite a difficult balance to strike"

What can you say about what you’ll be doing in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn?

SHEEN: It’s the same part that I played before – Aro.

Was there anything you got to discover in playing him this time around, that you hadn’t learned the last time you played him?

SHEEN: He’s more of a presence in these films than he was in New Moon, so I got to explore the character a bit more and probably fleshed it out a bit more. I don’t think that there’s anything that I learned. I just was able to go into the insanity of the character a bit more. I got to show what’s under the surface a bit more this time, which was fun.

How was Bill Condon to work with, as a director?

SHEEN: Bill was wonderful. He was terrific. He’s a very, very friendly, warm person. He obviously has a very varied and interesting body of work, and brought that to bear. He made everyone feel very comfortable. It must be quite hard, coming onto a film where people have already been together for a long time. Each film is a different director and you think, “What’s this one going to be like?” But, everyone really warmed to him and thought he was terrific. I think he did a really good job. It was a huge organizational thing. We had something like 40 new characters being introduced in this film, and the big battle scene took about four or five weeks to film. It was a huge undertaking, and he handled it brilliantly.

When a new director comes on and you already know the characters from having done previous films, do you feel like you know the characters more than the director, or does each director really bring something new out of you?

SHEEN: Personally, I was only on New Moon for two weeks, so it’s not like I got used to it. But, for the other actors, there’s probably a wariness about, “Is this person going to come along and not really get what it is we’re doing, or are they going to try to change it too much?” For a director coming on board, I would imagine there’s the pressure of wanting to make your mark and be different to what other people have done, but at the same time, not wanting to go against the flow of the whole series. I would imagine it’s quite a difficult balance to strike, but everyone seemed very happy on it and seemed to enjoy working with Bill.

Sam Clafin - "Kristen är väldigt talangfull"

Lastly, regarding Snow White and the Huntsman: Have you yet met with Kristen Stewart?
Sam: No!

So there was no chemistry read, you were cast separately for your roles?
Sam: No, but from my understanding she seems like an absolute legend of a girl. I have a friend who worked with her, my friend Eddie Redmayne, and he says she’s really down to earth, really talented. She’s so talented, I’m a big fan of hers. So fingers crossed there’ll be chemistry. But no, I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her, which is a bit of a shame.

Audiences saw a whole new side of Ashley Greene this weekend as her 80s-set coming-of-age flick "Skateland" rolled into theaters. The 24-year-old actress will continue to keep busy during the latter part of 2011, with movies like "LOL," co-starring Miley Cyrus, and "A Warriors Heart" slated for release. And then, of course, theres "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" hitting theaters November 18.

When we got on the phone a few months back to talk to Greene about "Skatetown," she was in the midst of final shoots for the "Twilight Saga" finale and preparing to say goodbye to the cast shes spent the last four years with.

"Its fun to go to work every day, but its kind of bittersweet," she said. "Its sad, because I feel like its high school or something. Weve been doing it for so long."

Yet Greene considers it a boon to have worked with director Bill Condon on the final installments. "Working with Bill Condon makes it kind of the cherry on top, because hes so excited and hes incredible at what he does," she enthused.

And, lest we forget, the two-part "Breaking Dawn" will roll out over the next couple of years, giving the cast plenty of opportunities to see each other, even as stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner continue to book high-profile projects.

"For two years, were going to have these movies coming out and press tours and all that stuff, and premieres. So the nice thing about that is that we know we are going to see each other over the next two years. Its not as hard to finish out the franchise."

No need for tearful goodbyes just yet, it seems.

Ny intervju med Robert - The New Zealand Herald

The first time I met Robert Pattinson, a few months shy of the release of Twilight in 2008, he strolled into the lobby of the Beverly Hills hotel completely unnoticed. No one had the slightest notion that his character, the charismatic vampire Edward Cullen, would soon prevent him from sustaining any kind of normality come the release of the film. He said back then, "I still havent decided if acting is going to be my career. I dont know if its going to work out. Who knows if people will go and see this movie?"

As we know, this would turn out to be an understatement of epic proportions. This afternoon, three years later, were in the same hotel but with a few changes to the scenery. Two burly bodyguards stand protectively outside his door, a couple of hundred paparazzi wait in the street and a horde of teenage girls are ready to stampede.

Life hasnt turned out the way Pattinson expected. Reminding him of what he said previously, he laughs: "You know, seriously, I just never thought Id have that kind of effect on anyone and I still dont really understand it."

He admits to mixed feelings about saying goodbye to Edward Cullen.

"Ill be very glad not to put those contacts in anymore or have to put on the sparkling makeup, but I will really miss the character. I do love the guy. I feel like I know him pretty well now."

Much ado has been made of his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart, and the nature of their offscreen relationship. Both have remained tight-lipped on the subject and have never made any public declarations, although there are numerous photographs, shot all over the world, documenting their romance.

In Breaking Dawn, their characters Edward and Bella marry and have a child. One of the most pivotal scenes is the birth of the couples baby and turning Bella into a vampire.

"It was insane, intense," he says of the scene, explaining that Edward can either lose Bella or give her a bite and thus immortality. "It was a pretty traumatic scene for me to do as an actor and, frankly, horrible for me emotionally. Edward has tried for so long not to turn Bella into a vampire and now ... well, its very sad. He feels like he has let her down."

Lilly Collins pratar om Taylors fans

"I hope if I ever have to deal with fame I handle it with the grace that Taylor Lautner does. He had 600 girls waiting outside the set for him one night and we didn’t finish filming until about 5am but he still went out for over an hour and signed all the autographs and posed for photographs. He’s extremely handsome and I like a guy who isn’t afraid to be himself. A sense of humor is important and I like someone who is confident and can show vulnerability as well as being strong."

Ny intervju med Robert - hans "vampyr-karriär" & W.F.E

You have a very special relationship with Spain, even lived in Barcelona for the filming of No limits, which were playing Salvador Dalí ...

True, here I have always been very well received. Barcelona keep a good memory, but if you ask me now you do not really say where was the apartment I stayed for several weeks. The team of No limits was mostly Spanish, only two or three spoke English and treated me very well. That film was part of the shift in my career. I keep a very good memory of the experience.

After finishing the filming of the saga Twilight, can you change urgently concerned about image?

In fact, I never worried how the public sees me, what picture is of my audience. We must also take into account that the films Twilight sees very different people. For example, over 25 do not perceive them as teenagers, they are screaming at premieres.  According birthday, you will also mature and like other things. The same thing happened to me as an actor.

So from now we will see a more mature actor, a Pattinson she gets older?

Like I said before, the least of my worries right now is doing things to the gallery. Many actors when they finish a stage in his career, as is happening to me right now to me, make the mistake of denying their past, to attack everything became so popular. I do not want to fall into that.

Have you lost a role because you were considered too cute to interpret?

I do not think (laughs) I have other excuses, but Im too handsome. The truth is that people began to see me beautiful from the premiere of Twilight. Had previously played other roles, and had never heard of my beauty. You look beautiful is a matter of fashion.

Is it true that youve reduced your cache to be, along with Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, in the casting of "Water for Elephants?

Thats right. And I think it has nothing wrong to admit it. Usually the best salaries often come with the worst jobs ... (Laughs).

During the promotion of New Moon suggested the possibility to take a sabbatical this idea is he still hanging around your head?

The truth is that what I valued seriously. I thought when hed just shoot all the chapters in the saga I would, but ... now is not the right time, I showered and projects is not the time to stop.

So much weight you have to endure to be Edward Cullen, the most famous vampire movies?

Is that character very well and I owe a lot. But now I had to get rid of many bonds and break down many barriers in order to become free, to behave like a normal actor. Playing a human being is very rewarding, much more than being a vampire!

Youve said on occasion that your great passion as well as the film is music, do you plan to devote a future singing career?

I have no thought about it. I like it, keep working and writing. Ill settle for writing some songs (it did for the soundtrack of Eclipse).

So, for the moment, focused 100% on your acting career ...

Of course, as the promotion end of Water for Elephants I will travel to Canada to begin filming Cosmopolis, under the command of David Cronenberg. This project is part of my intention to mature as actor, director for the character and history that we can talk to an author and film that, now, brings me a lot.

Jodie Foster pratar om Kristen - Moviefon

Moviefon: Youve worked with Kristen Stewart before, and now Jennifer Lawrence in this film. What are your thoughts on young female actors today, and how does that compare to your earlier days in film?

Jodie Foster: These actresses are amazing. Theyre great, and their feet are firmly entrenched in drama, which is very nice to see. It is definitely an answer to all those people who say being a young actress in Hollywood will make you crazy. These are very well-adjusted people were talking about. Their experiences will be very different from mine; it was a different world when I was growing up. News and entertainment were two different compartments, you didnt have the mad reality show mentality about celebrities then, and actresses that were 17 or 18 werent really worth a lot, financially. Its only recently that young actresses have become a hot commodity in film..

Rob pratar om djur, slutet av Twilight & bröllopsscenen - Glamour Magazine UK

Your character Jacob is a natural with animals but are you and did you have pets growing up?
Rob: I just had a dog growing up so I don’t know if I’m a natural with anything. I like animals a lot. I’ve never really… I’m very trusting in them. I trust them more than I trust people. I think there is some kind of connection in that.

Reese got to go to circus school. Were you jealous and what circus trick would you learn if you could?
Rob: I’d love to learn how to juggle. I’m physically incapable of juggling. It’s very annoying. Circus school is tough. I mean she had to go there every day. And they’re really hard on the performers. I mean it’s like a bootcamp. I was really glad I didn’t have to do anything. I was like, I’m not a performer. I don’t know anything about the circus. My part doesn’t involve anything so it was great. I just got to hang out with animals for my part. It was very simple.

Was it surreal seeing yourself as an old man?
Rob: Yeah definitely. I’m curious as to whether that is what I’m going to look like. I love the fact that Hal…[stomach grumbles] my stomach will not shut up…that Hal is so in demand as an actor at 84 years old. It’s insane. It’s an incredible life.

Would you still like to be doing it then?
Rob: I don’t know. I’d love to be in demand for something. I just have a feeling that I’m going to be one of those crazy old people that not even their own family want to see.

We had the Royal Wedding this weekend. Did you celebrate it at all?
Rob: I was in Paris working and I was doing these interviews and the TV was behind the interviewer so I was watching it. I was surprised how interesting I thought it was. It was nice to see everyone look so happy in England. Because everyone normally looks so miserable walking down the street and you see everyone waving their flags. It looks very sweet.

You’re coming to the end of filming Twilight. Do you think you’ll hang out with the cast afterwards?
Rob: I really hope so. It’s such a big part of our lives. I get on with everyone really well. Literally everyone in the cast I’m great friends with. So I would hope so. I can’t imagine not doing that. I mean, especially in LA. I mean most of my closest friends in America are people I worked on Twilight with.

You’ve been voted Most Stylish Man 2011 by GLAMOUR readers. Do you see yourself as a style icon?
Rob: It’s funny because I think I do. But no one who knows me notices. There are a lot of different things that I do. I swear a lot of people repeat my little gimmicks. Or maybe I’m completely insane. I used to mis… [Rob suddenly stops] do up my shirt buttons wrong and I see a lot of people doing that now.

Ny intervju med Robert Pattinson - BBC

BBC Speaking ahead of the release of his new movie Water For Elephants, the British actor told Newsbeat that hed much rather do romcoms.

"If you want to do big movies you have to do either big action explosion movies or you do romances because theyre the only things that get made," he said. "I think romances allow you to develop a character more. I hate working with computerised stuff. Its incredibly boring."

Pattinson, who rose to fame after playing the role of vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, also had a dig at action films saying although he likes watching them, theyre boring to make.

He said: "If theyre just well written [Id consider an action movie] but its not good writing most of the time. I enjoy watching them but it would be boring to do. Youve basically got to do it if you want to be famous."

In Water For Elephants, the 24-year-old British actor plays a vet who runs away with a circus and falls in love with one of the performers, played by Reese Witherspoon.

He admitted that he decided to do the film after meeting the elephant used in the production. "I met the elephant before I accepted the movie and before Id read the ," he said "It really was [the deal breaker].

"I remember going home in the car waiting to read the and I was like, Please, please be good. "Id basically already decided to do the movie not knowing anything about it just because I got on really well with the elephant and thought it was really fun."

Breaking Dawn
The actor also revealed that filming for the final Twilight films, Breaking Dawn parts one and two, has now finished. "Im sure we will have to do something," he said. "We finished a week and a half ago. All done. Yeah, she (Kristen Stewart) loved that [wedding] scene. Its a very girly scene. I do quite a few scenes with a baby and thats quite odd. Its so different in those movies because we were doing it with a real baby. But it was fun."

On The Teen Beat intervju med Ashley - Del 1

Photobucket

Q: How did you like all the 80s details in the film, particular your hair and costumes?

AG: They were very fun, certainly a departure from anything Ive ever known. Im very I think simple in my fashion, my hair and makeup and all of that stuff. I mean, it was fun. I looked exactly like my mother which was the funny part. I sent my mom pictures and her and my dad were like, This is crazy and uncanny. So it was fun to be able to do. Honestly, when else am I going to be able to wear blue eye shadow.

Q: Your character is the kind of music aficionado in this movie. What kinds of music did you end up appreciating and liking as a result of this movie?

AG: As much as I hate to admit I didnt really know who The Cure was. I know, I know, but I do now. I do now. The director made me a compilation. I think that I had twelve CDs of 80s music. So The Cure was definitely one. I think Joy Division was another big one that I kind of now have an appreciation for. But I was sadly not well versed in 80s music before I did the film.
Q: It wasnt the Totally 80s compilation set was it?

AG: No, it wasnt. It was a bunch of burned CDs.

Q: In what ways was Michelle, your character, like you and in what ways do you think youre different from her?

AG: Im definitely hardheaded and I think of myself as a strong girl. Im kind of no nonsense as well. Im driven. Right out of high school I moved to L.A. to kind of pursue my dreams and do what I wanted to do, and of course had the plan and path to go to college like everyone else and then decided that if I didnt do this I was going to regret it. So I kind of bit the bullet and did it. I think theres a lot of similarity there. I think differences are probably how much shes into music. I dont know that I wouldve had as much patience as she did with Ritchie Wheeler. I think that might not be one of my strong points. So thats kind of a difference between she and I.

Q: Can you talk about working with Shiloh Fernandez? You two have great chemistry in the film.

AG: It was really, really fun working with Shiloh. It was fun and easy. I kind of knew from the chemistry read that it was going to be great and easy from the second that we started bantering and working back and forth. We butted heads a few times on set, but I actually have an appreciation for that because were both artists and I think that we both, in the same scene, sometimes have different views on our characters and what we would do. I actually really appreciated that because wed butt heads and then wed come to an understanding and go from there. I think that we actually learned some things about ourselves and our characters in the process, but hes still a very close friend of mine and it was a really positive thing that I took out of the film.

Q: At what point did you film Skateland in the Twilight series? Was it before or after the second one?

AG: It was before, right before New Moon. It was a while ago. This is something that I filmed like two years ago.

Q: The after-effects of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan temporarily halted filming of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" in Canada’s Vancouver area. What’s the latest update on the filming?

AG: Everything kind of got turned upside down and inside out. We got the least of the brunt of things. We have to be thankful for that. But really, it’s more about that we had to pick up and move to a different location and switch scenes around, but we are certainly moving forward and carrying on. It’s not really going to affect the film too harshly.

Q: Do you have any comment on the disasters that have hit Japan?

AG: I’ve certainly voiced my opinion — as have a lot of my other friends — about raising money for Japan and being with them and praying for them, because I think it’s something unpredictable and horrible and unexpected and really unfortunate and heartbreaking. I certainly send out my prayers and my thoughts to the people and to their loved ones and lost ones. And hopefully, we as Americans are going to do everything we can to help them rebuild.

Q: Did you and Shiloh ever get a chance to talk about working with Catherine Hardwicke, even though he made Little Red
Riding Hood long after this film, what she was like?

AG: Yeah. Shiloh was actually one of the frontrunners for Twilight and so whenever we were doing Skateland we certainly had discussions about her and I think that we kind of have the same opinion on her, that shes just fantastic. Shes wild and crazy and eccentric and very fun to work with. He kind of after the Twilight process remained friends and in contact with Catherine and I know that she really did like Shiloh for the film and he didnt just quite fit. So I think its really cool that it did come back around and that he was able to work with her on Red Riding Hood.

Q: Have you seen the film?

AG: I havent seen it, no. I really want to. I mean, it looks very cool and beautiful. Im going to see it, absolutely, and kind of support him. Im very excited for him that he finally got to get out there and do something.

Q: What about working with a writer/director on this film. Does it make it easier when you have questions on the film, working with Anthony Burns on this?

AG: Definitely. He kind of had all the answers and because it was kind of based on their adolescence and they grew up in this small town. Some of these characters, the character that I played is actually a person that exists that they know, who I met while I was filming Skateland. So, yeah, thats definitely helpful and they know everything.

Ny intervju med MSN - Tinsel Korey (aka Emily)

Tinsel Korey may not be a familiar name (yet!) but this Canadian singer/actress has made a mark in the indie scene, appearing in films like "Mothers and Daughters", "Hybrid", It Waits", "The Lookout" and of course, the big one - "The Twilight Saga", as Emily Young, fiancee to the werewolf leader.

We spoke to the 31-year-old about the appeal of Twilight (she made a good point that its probably all the hot guys!) and her music career, plus an upcoming movie with Kevin Sorbo ("Hercules").

When you first heard about Twilight, did you have any idea it would turn out to be this successful?

When my little sister brought it my attention, Twilight had just been released on film. So I didnt know how popular it was, it wasnt everywhere like how it is now. I actually dont think it was released internationally at that point yet.

Have you read the Twilight books? What do you think is the appeal about vampires and shape shifters, especially the ones that fall in love with humans!

I have read the books. I think regardless of supernatural element; its about love. And it was the first fantasy movie that was directed towards a female audience. Actually you know what I think the actual appeal is...its the hot guys! Joke...

Your character Emily Young is heavily scarred in the movies. How long was the makeup process and was it tedious to go through?

I had three different make-up teams for each movie Ive been in. The longest it ever took was 8 hours and the shortest was 2 hours. Its a process; Im the first one in the make-up chair and the last one out. You just learn to meditate and understand its part of the process. As long as it looked good, thats all that mattered to me.

Ny intervju med Peter - "The Weeding is magical"

Switching gears: Breaking Dawn. I know you’re on set, how does it feel winding it down?

It’s been a whirlwind. We’ve been filming for six months. You take it day by day. I feel good about what we’ve shot. Now it’s up to the editor, and I hope it all comes out well. At the end of the day, it’s hard because you don’t have control over how it’s put together. But I’ve seen some put together, and it looks pretty good. I’m excited to see the finished product.

Anything you can tease to us about it? I hear the wedding scene is grand.

The wedding scene, first of all, was really beautiful. The way the set was decorated, the way they lit it. It’s in the backyard of the Cullen house, and they utilized the space really well. For us as actors, it was hard because it was raining the whole time we shot, but you’ll never see it on film. For us, it was raining and muddy, but on film, it will look beautiful. In the baseball sequence [from the first movie], it rained the whole time, but you can’t tell.

How did you magically stay dry?

It’s very difficult. I remember the first day [on the first film], we were in the midst of shooting, and they said [to the director Catherine Hardwicke], ‘”What do you want to do Catherine?” So they started passing out baseball hats to anyone whose hair looked too wet. It was movie magic; you never see it. It has to rain really hard for it to read on film.

Give me a visual tease of the wedding, for the wedding geeks, like yours truly.

It looks very magical. It was a real treat to be able to watch the two of them get married. It was a longtime coming, this wedding. It didn’t disappoint me when we shot it, so I think it will be magical.

Donna Scott pratar om Water For Elephants

Donna Scott has a role millions of women would kill for in Water for Elephants. As bawdy burlesque dancer Barbara, she initiates Robert Pattinsons character into the circus — sexually! We chatted with the mother of two and wife of director Tony Scott this weekend, just before she headed out to the theater to see the movie for the first time. She talked about shooting under the big top with Robert and Reese Witherspoon, how Robs family helps him handle his unprecedented fame, and filming her slightly awkward sexy scene with him! She also told us about training with a tassel-twirling expert for her risqué role, and what happened when a trio of zebras got loose on set and sent her, Reese, Rob, and Christoph Waltz ducking for cover.

Tell us a little bit about your character, Barbara.
Shes a sideshow coochie dancer, a burlesque dancer, definitely targeted to the male audience going to the circus in the 1930s. There was one part [of the circus] that was for the family, and the other was the sideshow.

Was Rob nervous for your kissing scene?
Just a little bit. It’s really funny, because Rob is so...Rob. And even though he’s a huge heartthrob movie star, he’s so genuine. I figured since he was a megastar that he’d be like, Yeah, ok, and I saw that because I’m older and lived a lot more life, I was comfortable being way more forward than he was. So, I definitely was aware that it was genuine, and that when I would move in to kiss him, he’d be like Whoa! He was genuinely shy and it was all fantastic. How we prepared was just stepping into it and doing it. [He played] naïve and deflowered!

How does Rob rate as a leading man and kisser?
Rob, on a scale of one to ten, is a ten. He’s got luscious lips, and he’s so sweet, and he’s a tender person. (WHOA!! Died a little...ok, moving on)

Reese told a story about Rob running scared from the zebras on set. Is that true?
After Reese had injured her ankle and when Rosie ran off, we were shooting this scene where it was just Reese, myself, Christoph, and Rob, and there were three zebras staked right near us. They’re very high strung, and they were going crazy and pulling up the stakes. Rob went running away and Reese grabbed Christoph and put him in front of her as a human body shield, and she was like; Oh my god, I don’t know what I just did! And I was behind one of the support poles, and it happened so fast, it was really funny. But Rob was running away because he was supposed to be leaving to do something in the scene, so I think he didn’t want to break character. He felt so bad. He was like, Everyone is going to think I ran away because I was scared!

Rob actually has to cross-dress for a particularly funny scene in the movie. How did he handle that?
I think he was genuinely really shy about coming out of that trunk. It was pretty funny for him to come crawling out with all of us eating our breakfast. And no one had seen him in his outfit, because his double was in there the whole time they were setting up. So when he came out of the trunk all the response to him was genuine. I think his response was genuine, too. He was really embarrassed!

Was there a lot of fandemonium near the set for Rob?
Every day. It was insane to me, because where we were shooting was so remote. We were an hour and a half outside of LA in these huge orange groves, and we’d be shooting nights, and when I’d leave work 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 in the morning there would be unbelievable amount of women in a ditch across the shooting area waiting for Rob. They didn’t leave. I was blown away. I’ve never seen that level commitment from fans until I saw all that.

How does he deal with that remarkable level of attention?
It’s remarkable how he deals with it. He deals with it immensely well, and I also think he can’t believe what’s going on. I think he stays really grounded, and I think he views it from a point of view of, Is this really happening in my life? And all of the craziness around him and Kristen, I think they navigate it immensely well in how he handles situations. He’s so close to his family and they’re so grounded, his mom and his dad and his sisters, so I think that helps him. And the maturity. Hes very well educated and very well read, but it’s lovely that he can be that mature.

Ny intervju med Guri Weingberg - om BD

Cat: Welcome! You are joining Cat &Emma on The Daily Twimes. You can find us at blogspot.dailytwimes.com or on twitter at dailytwimes. Today, we are chatting across the globe in Wisconsin, the U.K… and in L.A. we have the very talented, Guri Weinberg, who plays Stefan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Guri: Hi! [waves]

Cat: Thank you Guri for joining us!

Guri: Thanks for inviting me!

Emma: So… what was your reaction after you were cast in Breaking Dawn and who was the first person you told?

Guri: Well, I was ecstatic. My managers assistant is a HUGE Twilight fan, so she kept screaming into the phone while I got the news. I told my wife first. My wife was happy I got to FINALLY play a vampire. I had always wanted to play a vampire

Cat: Your wife has great taste! Now, were you already interested in the Twilight Saga before you got the part? Had you read the books or watched the movies?

Emma: Apart from homework!

Guri: I didnt know too much about the Twilight series before I got the role. In fact, when the part first came up, I told my manager I didnt think I was right for it. My managers assistant called me saying, "Its TWILIGHT, Guri. Not only will you audition but you BETTER get the role! I WANT TO MEET STEPHENIE!!!"

Cat: [laughs]

Emma: Haha brilliant!

Cat: You are such a giving person for taking the role for your managers assistant, haha!

Guri: Well, all the film breakdown said was "Breaking Dawn". Not being "in the loop", I didnt know it was a Twilight film. So, naturally, I was very happy to audition.

Emma: So REALLY out of the loop then!!

Guri: Pretty out of the loop. I am just NOT that cool...

Cat: Oh, stop!

Emma: [laughs] Stephenie is producing on Breaking Dawn, so you got to meet her?

Guri: Oh, yes. I met Stephenie when we did our make-up/wardrobe screen tests before filming began. She was also there throughout filming. We immediately "clicked". Shes a really down to earth person and put me at ease right away. I was a little nervous to see how she felt about me in costume and make-up. When she saw me, she told me that it was exactly how she pictured Stefan. I was pretty happy about that.

Emma: That is really amazing to hear! I mean for you to hear from her.

Peter pratar om bröllopsscenen med MTV

Although he couldnt go into too much detail, we asked Facinelli to describe the heavily hyped wedding scene for us.

"Beautiful and spectacular," he said. "Its funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on Twilight [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from Twilight], and it was raining. But you never see it on film," he said of the filmmaking crews movie magic. "With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But youll never see it on film, they block out the rain. They put tarps up and youll never see it. But for us, it was very wet and muddy and cold."

Peter Facinelli - Frågot & svar på fansens frågor

Fans fick chansen att ställa frågor till Peter Facinelli (aka Dr. Cullen). Här svarar han på frågorna:

Comment From Calista: What is the best part of being part of the twilight saga??

Peter Facinelli: The fans are really great. They’ve been really supportive and I appreciate all of them.

Comment From Kimberly: how are you and carlisle similar and different?

Peter Facinelli: I like to think I have his passion. Carlisle is the head of a family. I have children so I can relate. I don’t have blond hair and he’s an older soul than I am. I also don’t wear cardigan sweaters in real life.

Comment From Onix: What will you miss most now that you are finishing the Twilight Saga?

Peter Facinelli: I don’t know, I’m not sure because it hasn’t sunk in that’s it’s over yet. Even though filming is pretty much over there are still two more films coming out. What I won’t miss is shooting in the rain and mud!

Comment From Stefanie: What is one of the funniest things that has happened on set of one of the Twilight movies?

Peter Facinelli: We were shooting a big stand-off sequence between the Volturi’s and the Cullen’s and it was a crazy experience because we had 100 people going through hair and makeup in the morning. One of the actors thought it would be funny if we had a dance off. We didn’t tell the director and when they yelled action we broke out in dance. It could end up on the DVD extras.

Ny intervju med Robert - San Francisco

Sorry, ladies. In the daylight, Robert Pattinsons skin does not sparkle like diamonds. Hes not even unusually pale. The closest he gets to his dreamy-vampire persona is when, during the course of conversation, he absently tousles his hair into something like his undead do. Perhaps the most surprising thing about Mr. Hunky Bloodsucker in person is how soft-spoken he is.

Why we care: The "Twilight" movies have been sort of popular (nearly $800 million in domestic box office, about $1.8 billion worldwide), making the 24-year-old the highest-paid British actor in 2010, according to Vanity Fair. Thats the magazine, not the movie that dissed him in his screen almost-debut. The two-part sexy-vampire finale kicks off with "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part One)" in November. Says Pattinson, "Its a horror movie. (laughs) Incredibly strange, its a totally different genre. The first part of it is really a straight-up horror movie. The second one is more similar - well, there are a couple of weird bits in the second. The first one is like, Huh? (laughs) Its really left the box behind. But its fine - its such a long shoot, theres no consistency to which movie were shooting at any time. I just know theres no way to avoid the freakishness of the story. The key story points are the weirdest parts of the story. It might end up being a cult movie."

Quotable: Pattinson admits that fame has gotten into his head a little bit, but what he misses are normal things for a guy his age. "I wish I werent so paranoid about things. Im always certain that the main thing about young actors careers now is being overexposed because people just seem to want to do it so much - [hard American accent] Just stick his face on this piece of crap - I wish I could avoid that, get it out of my brain. But when youre working you cant do anything anyway; I go straight to bed. I wish I could go to the cinema more often. As soon as people know youre in the cinema, theres this horrible energy - no ones concentrating on the movie. Thats the biggest downside. And not being able to be incredibly drunk in public."

Breaking Dawn & slutet - Robert Pattinson

By the time you’re reading this article, Robert Pattinson will have wrapped his final scene for “Breaking Dawn: Part 2.

In a way, he’s breaking up with his ethereal BFF.

“It does feel like a breakup. I do love the guy — and I’m going to miss him,” Pattinson, 24, says during an interview with the Sun-Times on a cool Sunday afternoon from his hotel suite in Santa Monica, Calif. “I prefer to think of ending this franchise like leaving school. It’s the last day of high school.”

He mulls over the plusses of leaving behind his romantic alter ego.

“I’ll be very glad not to put those contacts in anymore or have to put on the sparkling makeup,” he says with a giggle.

The thing about Pattinson is, he likes to giggle. A lot. Then his voice softens.

“It’s been amazing to play the same character through so many adventures. And it’s so strange because my life has changed so much over these years, but ‘Twilight’ and Edward Cullen will always be a part of me. It’s been my whole life. My whole 20s,” he says. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

He knows that there is no way he’s leaving this room without spilling some secrets about “Breaking Dawn,” a two-part finale debuting in November.

“I haven’t really seen any of the footage, so I’m not sure how any of it turned out. All I can tell you is, it felt right. It was from the heart.

“I’m as curious as any ‘Twilight’ fan,” he insists.

“Now stop asking or I’ll be in trouble.”

I was so near -Michael Copon

Michael Copon var ju killen som egentligen skulle spela Jacob Black i Twilight Sagan, innan Taylor Lautner tog platsen som Jake.

I en ny intervju med Michael berättar han lite om det;

Michael Copon

Michael Copon confirmed that he was a step away from getting the role of Jacob Black in “Twilight” and Troy Bolton on “High School Musical.”

“Yeah, originally the first director was fired and then there was confusion if I still had the role because they were talks about keeping the same cast…

“Taylor [Lautner, who eventually landed the role in ‘Twilight’] and I had the same agent then…” was Copon’s rambling recount about being picked for the Jacob Black role.

He disclosed to Bulletin Entertainment  that he didn’t even have to audition for it as the was handed to him by his agent for approval. Upon reading it, he knew instantly that he likes to be part of a movie about vampires and werewolves; adding that he was interested in playing the older Jacob Black.

“That’s because I’m tall at 6’2---taller than Taylor---so that kinda made sense,” Copon said of the predilection.

Nya intervju med Robert - Le Figaro

Madame Figaro. - You shoot a lot. Besides the last two episodes of the Twilight series, youll see in June in Bel Ami, Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, and soon in Water for Elephants, by Francis Lawrence. What attracted you in the role of Jacob Jankowski, animal trainer in a circus?
Robert Pattinson. - First, the book of the young novelist Sara Gruen, an incredible success in the United States, whose action is in the 20s in a traveling circus. Suddenly, with this role, I had the opportunity to leave the modern fantasy of Twilight, to live among the animals, touching the concrete things.

You seem drawn to the romantic past ...
Yes, I include the history of America, Im interested. In reading the , I immediately hooked. It seemed obvious and easy. Jacob is a being tormented and mysterious. He lost his parents, he does not want to dig into his past and if this includes traveling circus, it is to prove himself as a veterinarian. It also ignores that he will live a violent passion and forbidden.

Your profile is accurate: that of being lonely, misunderstood and very attractive. It is a common point to all your characters.
Thats true. As if Edward, the hero of twilight, was the common thread of all these roles. Jacob sees things in black and white. As for Edward, he always distinguishes good from evil. In a sense, my characters are Manichaean. Thats why I try to bring inner complexity.

And Bel Ami, how did you work? Georges Duroy, the hero of the novel, is older than you.
It made me hesitate. And then I started because Maupassant he is my favorite French writer. Bel Ami is a classic unbeatable. With Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci, my playmates, we had fun. I concentrated on my game its great freedom of action. Bel Ami is an animal, my first character is completely cynical and ironically enough honest. But it is destructive. He plays a sort of game where nobody respects the rules, where everyone has connections, a great travesty worldly where the key is to pretend. He cares, he does what he pleases, and that is precisely that appeals to women.

A bit like you after all ...
Oh no! Im no Don Juan. This is something that is beyond me and is actually quite cool, all those fans who take pictures of me, these blogs, this buzz. Frankly, I have no sex appeal. (Kate: That Is a matter if opinion! ) Just strolling in Los Angeles, London or Paris to find a bunch of young guys like me. I am not James Dean.

Lily Collins pratar om Kristen - Screenjunkies

Q: There are other Snow Whites being made too, but yours is going to be the best, right?

LC: [Laughs] Kristen Stewart is the other Snow White and I really admire her as an actress. She’s so fun and so sweet and we’re both very different. We’ve both very, very different and I think we’re going to have two totally different takes on it. So it’ll be interesting to see what happens but I’m very excited to be involved with mine with Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer and Tarsem. I’m still completely amazed.
